This seminar highlights Synthego’s pivotal role in democratizing CRISPR technology through synthetic guide RNA (sgRNA) manufacturing. Synthego has revolutionized RNA synthesis with proprietary automation systems capable of producing sgRNA at scale, drastically reducing costs and broadening accessibility.
The presentation covers Synthego’s evolution from facilitating early proof-of-concept studies to supporting clinical applications with GMP-grade sgRNAs. It emphasizes the importance of nuclease selection, introducing the HFCas12max as a highly efficient, cost-effective alternative to traditional Cas9, featuring enhanced specificity, broad PAM availability, and a simplified commercialization pathway.
