PostDoctoral Position at Di Malta's Lab
Where: The workplace is the Telethon Institute of Genetics and Medicine located in Pozzuoli, Naples, Italy.
When: The position is available starting immediately. The duration of the contract is 1 year, subjected to yearly revision.
What: The post-doctoral fellow will be involved in a very exciting project about the role of lysosome in cysts and cancer development. We will exploit state of the art imaging techniques, gene editing and “-omics” approaches (transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics) in relevant cellular and murine models. Salary: The salary will be discussed privately with the applicants, based on their previous experience (gross annual amount range 24.000€-33.000€).
Essentials:
The post-doctoral candidates should have a PhD in biology or a related discipline and preferably documented experience in cellular and molecular biology. Prior experience in mouse genetics is appreciated but not mandatory. The ideal candidate should be strongly motivated and able to work in a research team. Excellent technical skills and the ability to think independently and as part of a research team are highly desired. Records that show applicants ability to be funded will be positively considered.
