Abstract
In this talk, you will hear about the different Nature family journals, the types of content that they respectively publish and their editorial selection criteria. The talk will then focus on what researchers can keep in mind when submitting to a journal to ensure that it is the best fit for their work and to ensure fair editorial consideration. The editorial and peer-review process will be explained. For those that are interested in a career as a professional editor, Karina will briefly go over the day-to-day tasks of an editor and the skills that are required for the job.
