Applications open for the PhD Program in Genomic and Experimental Medicine (GEM)

The call for applications for the PhD Program in Genomic and Experimental Medicine (GEM) is now open.

The program, offered by the Scuola Superiore Meridionale in collaboration with Telethon Institute of Genetics and Medicine (TIGEM), provides a unique opportunity for young researchers interested in pursuing a career in biomedical sciences.

The 4-year PhD program is designed to train the next generation of scientists through advanced research projects focused on key areas of modern biomedicine, including cell biology, molecular medicine, genomics, and molecular oncology.

Students will join a dynamic and international scientific environment, where innovation, collaboration, and cutting-edge technologies drive discoveries aimed at understanding biological mechanisms and developing new therapeutic strategies for human diseases.
