Pre-doctoral position available in Staiano’s Lab

Where: The workplace is the Telethon Institute of Genetics and Medicine, located in Pozzuoli, Naples, Italy.

When: The position is available starting from April 2024 but the application deadline is January, 15th 2024.

What: The candidate will be involved in an exciting project focused on the development of Kidney Organoids to model inherited kidney diseases and on the study of Lipid metabolism role in development of chronic kidney disease

Salary: The gross salary will be 19,376 €/year (Assegno di Ricerca Tipo Professionalizzante).

Essentials: To qualify, the applicant must hold a Master's Degree in Biotechnology or a related discipline. The applicant should have hands-on experience in advanced imaging techniques and cell biology methodologies. Additionally, the applicant should be highly motivated, capable of working as part of a research team, and possess good communication skills. Proficiency in English, both oral and written, is essential.

Desirable: Previous experience with Lipid imaging, LIpid-protein, and protein-protein interaction analysis by light microscopy.
