Where: The workplaces are the Telethon Institute of Genetics and Medicine, located in Pozzuoli, Naples, Italy and the A.O.R.N. Santobono-Pausilipon, Naples.
When: The position is available starting as soon as possible. The duration of the contract is 2 years, renewable upon a positive evaluation.
What: A Senior Researcher who will be involved in the Project "Gene Therapy and Innovative Therapies in Pediatrics: development of clinically relevant models for the study of hereditary liver diseases and the development of new therapies, including gene therapy”.
Salary: Gross salary 40.000€
- A Master's degree in Biology (LM06) or in Medical, Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology (LM-09) or equivalent degrees in accordance with the law. Proven post-graduate work experience of at least three years in research laboratories. Publication of at least n. 3 scientific papers in indexed journals relevant to the required profile
- Specialization or PhD in Medical Genetics or Human Genetics; expertise in laboratory methodologies and techniques for the development of in vitro and in vivo experimental models for the study of hereditary liver diseases (e.g. liver cell lines, including primary hepatocytes, and mouse models); expertise in methodologies and laboratory techniques for the development of new molecular therapies.
