: The overall goals of Brunetti's research are to understand how defects in biochemical pathways result in disease and to develop novel therapeutic approaches for inborn errors of metabolism. The ultimate goal of his research is to translate mechanistic discoveries into the clinical arena via clinical research performed at the Unit of Innovative Therapies for Genetic Diseases of the Federico II University Hospital of Naples. : Post-doctoral candidates should have a PhD in biology or a related discipline and preferably documented experience in cellular and molecular biology. Mouse genetic expertise will be a plus. Excellent technical skills and the ability to think independently and as part of a research team are highly desired.
