What: One Post-Doctoral position is available in the laboratory headed by Carmine Settembre. Work’s topic will be the study of the regulation and medical implication of selective autophagy.

The position will be funded thanks to a 5-years ERC research grant (2023-2028).
Salary: The salary will be discussed privately with the applicants, based on their previous experience. A fixed-term contract is offered with the possibility of access to company welfare. Candidates coming to Italy for the first time, or returning after residing abroad, may take advantage of very attractive income tax benefits.
Essentials: Post-doctoral candidates should have a PhD in biology or a related discipline and preferably documented experience in cellular and molecular biology. Mouse genetic expertise will be a plus. Excellent technical skills and the ability to think independently and as part of a research team are highly desired.
