Senior lab manager position in Cacchiarelli's Lab
When: The position is available starting ASAP. The duration of the contract is 1-year renewable or tenured, based on previous experience.
What: This Technical personnel will be involved in laboratory management, supporting research projects, grant management, and daily laboratory work including junior members' training.
Salary: The salary will be discussed privately with the applicant, based on previous experience (range 24.000-30.000).
Essentials: Degree in Biology or Biotechnology; PhD in Genetics or Molecular Biology; +10 years of research experience in an academic laboratory of Genetics or Molecular Biology; +5 years of research experience in NGS technologies, including Genomics, Epigenomics, Transcriptomics, and Functional Genomics; +5 years of lab management of an NGS/MolBio laboratory including laboratory workflows, grants management and reporting, training of junior members (Masters and PhD students). The individual for this job must be highly organized, methodical, and reliable; Effective contribution to the research will be highly appreciated and demonstrated by relevant publications in the field.
