Where: The workplace is the Telethon Institute of Genetics and Medicine, located in Pozzuoli, Naples, Italy.
When: The position is available starting ASAP.
What: The Medina’s lab (https://www.tigem.it/research/research-faculty/medina) is seeking highly independent and creative individuals with a Ph. D and/or MD degree, who are motivated to work in diverse and collaborative research environment.
Salary: The salary will be discussed privately with the applicants, based on their previous experience.
Essentials: We will consider candidates from a broad range of backgrounds including (but not limited to) molecular and cellular biology, neuroscience, and high content imaging. Candidate with experience with primary neuron cultures, iPSCs and Neuronal Stem Cells are highly desiderable. Medina’s lab uses these approaches to study lysosomal and autophagic pathways in health and disease, and use the knowledge acquired to develop small molecule therapeutics to tackle lysosomal storage diseases.
