When: The position is available starting ASAP.
What: The Post-Doctoral position involves a joint research agreement with one of the big pharmaceutical industries in Europe. We will exploit state of the art imaging techniques, gene editing and “-omics” approaches (transcriptomics and proteomics) in cellular models of a potential new target for neurodegeneration.
Salary: The salary will be discussed privately with the applicant, based on their previous experience.
Essentials: Post-doctoral candidates should have a PhD in Biology or a related discipline and preferentially a background in the field of cellular signaling, and neurodegeneration. Excellent skills in cell biology and molecular biology techniques are required, including genome editing using CRISPR/Cas9 technology. Previous experience inhigh content imaging is highly desirable, but not mandatory. In addition, the ideal candidate should be a highly motivated person, able to work and think independently and as a part of a research team and he/she should have good communication skills to keep periodic communication with our industrial collaborators.
