What: The Post-Doctoral fellow will be involved in a project which aims to develop innovative gene therapy approachesfor treatment of common inherited retinal diseases. The project will take advantage of cutting-edge models, such as three-dimensional retinal organoids, to evaluate the efficacy of the developed approaches.

Salary: The salary will be discussed privately with the applicant, based on their previous experience.
Qualifications: Candidates should have a PhD in Biology, Biotechnology, or a related discipline and, preferentially, a background in the field of gene therapy. Excellent skills with molecular biology and cloning are required. Previous experience in the retinal field is highly desirable, but not mandatory. In addition, the ideal candidate should have a good publication record, fluency in written and spoken English, and the ability to work in a highly collaborative environment both independently and as part of the team.
