What: The The Pre and Post-Doctoral scholars will be involved in a project aimed at evaluating the protective role of microRNAs in Inherited Retinal Diseases. Salary: The salary will be discussed privately with the applicant, based on their previous experience.
Post-doctoral candidates should have a PhD in Biology or a related discipline and preferentially a background in the field of retinal biology. Excellent skills in molecular biology techniques are required. Previous experience in mouse genetic techniques is highly desirable, but not mandatory. In addition, the ideal candidate should be a highly motivated person, able to work and think independently and as a part of a research team and he/she should have good communication skills.
Pre-doctoral candidates should have a Master’s degree in Biology or a related discipline and good skills in molecular biology techniques; prior experience in mouse genetics is appreciated. The ideal candidate should be strongly motivated and able to work in a research team.
