Administration
The support of the administration is crucial for TIGEM to perform its research activity.
It consists of three divisions (Human Resources, Budget and Finance, Research Assistance), each with specific objectives. Human Resources and Budget and Finance, in particular, are closely related and in frequent contact with the Telethon Administrative Headquarters in Rome.
Human Resources:
is responsible for the draft and sorting of staff records, preparation of contracts of employment and maintenance of good employee relations. It also provides support (e.g. visa handling) to visiting scientists and keeps contacts with the local funding agencies.
Budget and Finance:
takes care of the accounting, of placing orders and guaranteeing budget support.
Research Assistance:
offers support to researchers and research groups with clerical help and is involved in the administrative issues of the graduate programmes (PhD Affairs).
